  1. Only hubs with gen 2 axles will use radial bearings, if your hub has a gen 1 axle, it will use angular contact bearings.

    • To determine your gen 2 hub bearing type, the axle must be removed in order to check the bearing spacer.

  2. With the axle removed, attempt to remove the bearing spacer by pulling it from the drive side All race level hubs will use radial bearings You can tap it lightly from the non-drive side to aid removal
